Titanium dioxide is known as Titanium Dioxide V. Widely used in coatings, plastics, rubber, ink industry, can obtain the same technical performance as titanium dioxide, and greatly reduce the cost of raw materials.

      There is no shortage of fake titanium dioxide in the market, which can lead to the precipitation of white substances in plastics processing. ICP analysis has incorporated a large amount of calcium powder. In order to adjust the change of the oil absorption caused by the addition of calcium powder, wax powder is added. Let many users get angry. This simple method to identify titanium dioxide, share it to everyone.

      First, the physical method:

      1. The simplest method is to compare the feel, fake titanium dioxide is more slippery, true titanium dioxide is more astringent;

      2. The water is washed and the hands are stained with titanium dioxide, which is easy to wash off. It is not easy to wash away.

      3. Take a glass of clear water and put titanium dioxide into it. It's true that it floats, and the precipitation will be false (if it is activated and modified, it will not work).

      Second, chemical methods:

      1. Doped with light calcium or heavy calcium: Add dilute sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, bubbles can make the clarified lime water turbid, because calcium carbonate reacts with acid to produce carbon dioxide;

      2. Mix with lithopone: Add dilute sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, smell of rotten eggs;

      3. Made of latex paint, plus iron red, dark color, indicating poor hiding power is false or poor quality titanium dioxide.

      Third, there are two more good ways:

      1. With the same PP+30%GF+5%PP-G-MAH+0.5% titanium dioxide, the lower the strength, the more true the titanium dioxide (rutile).

      2. Select a transparent resin, such as transparent ABS + 0.5% titanium dioxide, to measure the light transmittance, the lower the light transmittance, the more true the titanium dioxide.
